It is also worth learning the superlative form of adjectives in relation to their comparative form, since they are related. For example in the case of the adjective 'small', 'smaller' is the comparative form and 'the smallest' is the superlative form.
RULES TO FORM THE COMPARATIVE AND THE SUPERLATIVE IN ENGLISH
1. In English, most of the adjectives are added an 'er' at the end to form the comparative and 'est' to form the superlative.
